If you are looking for good quality editing, you have come to the right place.
We can edit manuscripts of any size from full-length books to short stories. Heck, we’ll even edit your text messages if you have a problem with them.
Our charges are modest, $2.50 per page with a minimum charge of $50. We can do two things to enhance your manuscript:
1 We will suggest changes to your storyline and the structure of your work.
2 We will suggest changes to your punctuation.
We are experts at improving the structure of books and short stories. If you can’t seem to get it to flow, we can show you how.
We welcome inquiries from people who have English as a Second Language. We can enhance your stories and suggest ways to improve your English at the same time. Price for this service depends on the editing time taken with ESL texts, but we will work out a fee structure with you before we start.
We are both writers and understand that the story belongs to the writer, not the editor. We won’t bully you into accepting our ideas; you accept or reject any changes we suggest. We work interactively with writers and you have email access to us during the editing stages of your work.
We don’t rip people off. If for any reason we don’t believe we can make a difference to your work, we will tell you so.
Publishing
Want a novel, family history, book of short stories or book of poems published? Our prices are reasonable, but we will only give them to you if you email us. We can print any quantity you nominate, from one copy just for you or the one you love, to thousands of copies if you have a market and can sell them.
If you are new to publishing and are looking to profit from your work, please heed a word of warning. Don’t print unless you are sure you can market your work. It is better to market your book first, find out how many copies you can certainly sell, and then order that number or a few more to start with.
We will lay the book out for you and ensure all margins are correct. Complete editing and publishing prices are available on request.
There are lots of rip-off merchants out there who will charge you big bucks to print your work. One scam we came across recently with one of our new clients was for $5,000 to print an 80,000 word novel. This dishonest publisher offered to sell the book by putting it up on their web site—yeah, right—and deliver a whole 20 books to the client free of charge.
We will charge you a reasonable fee-per-book to publish your work. It will be low enough to allow you to sell your book at a profit, or give away to family and friends if that is your objective. Price depends on the number of books you order.
Publishers that offer to print your book for a fee have one object in mind, to make money from you. Hey, that’s why we are in business, to make money. The difference with us is that we will provide an excellent service to you for a reasonable fee, not rip you off big-time.
